Location

Cabinas El Mirador Lodge is situated on a hill overlooking Drake’s Bay on the Osa Peninsula of the Pacific Coast of Southern Costa Rica. Because it is off the beaten path, Drake’s Bay has managed to preserve much of the pure, natural charm of its pristine beaches and lush jungles, teeming with wildlife and vegetation. Drake’s Bay is conveniently situated on the border of Corcovado National Park and only 12 miles west of the Isla del Caño, one of the best spots for diving and snorkeling in the region.

Amenities

All cabins are wooden made, rustic and simple. There were used original materials from the area as well as local man power; among them friends, relatives and the owners themselves.

All cabins have their own bathroom with running drinkable water, big windows covered with mosquito shields and curtains for privacy. There are 2 cabins that share a bathroom separated from both of the cabins.

On the summit there are four contiguous cabins and two other independent ones. They all have a balcony for bird-watching and a impressive view to the bay. These don’t have electricity which by the way gives them a romantic and natural adventure feeling.

The rest of the cabins don’t have view to the bay, they are scattered throughout the forest around. They are more private and have electricity and fan.
