One day tour from Monteverde to Selvatura Conservation Project
Selvatura is a private conservation project comprised of 750 acres of the primary cloud forest. This forest is adjacent to the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve so it is quite extensive. Its Canopy Tour is one of the safest and most thrilling adventures of all time. The visitors will be able to see the marvels of the primary cloud forest from a bird’s eye view. It is also possible to observe some of the cloud forest’s most amazing flora and fauna including a wide variety of epiphytes, monkeys, and exotic birds. Surely this tour is the experience of a lifetime.
Our tour consists of 14 platforms connected by stainless steel cables on which our visitors cruise through primary cloud forest while being attached by a top-class security harness. The total length of the tour is 1.8 miles (3 kilometers) cruising through altitudes of up to 300 feet (100 meters). This tour also features the longest single cable, 700 meters, and an optional Tarzan swing. All of Selvatura’s Canopy guides are highly trained for maximum safety.
